VOICES OF INFLUENCE

TEAM PROGRAM

★★★★★

On a scale of 1- to a million, this entire course has surpassed a million. Not only did I discover my voice, but I discovered my purpose. The Voices of Influence program is something I did not know I needed. This course is something all of society needs right now. Now, I have a voice, a purpose and the ability to have a positive impact on my company. It is empowering.

We’re incredibly grateful for the partnership we’ve developed with Lucy and the team at Cornell Voice Advisory. We have just completed the 2nd year of our Accelerate Women program and the feedback we’ve received from participants has been exceptional. Our aim was to promote and provide a voice for female talent within our industry. We feel that, thanks to Lucy and The Voice Of Influence program, we have made significant strides in helping those females find their voice and platform.

Four Stages of Learning

1. ASSESS
Benchmark Survey

Each participant and their manager takes our 5 minute online Voice of Influence Survey. It measures 6 parameters of voice to benchmark their speaking in high stakes.

It includes 30 self rating questions for participants and 6 correlating 360 degree questions for managers plus 3 free form answers each.

Once data is collected each participant is provided an individual benchmark report in preparation for Stage 2.

2. DELIVER
Practical Workshop

Run virtually over 1 week, each participant will identify a topic they feel needs to be spoken, design it for their audience's hearing, structure it, learn skills for an engaging performance and then rehearse it. On Friday, they will pitch it to 2 senior leaders in the organisation in the form of a supportive Shark Tank.

Mon 2 hrs full group of 30
Tues 2.5 hrs full group of 30
Wed 2 hrs/group of 5 x 6 groups
Thur 2 hrs/group of 5 x 6 groups
Fri 2 hrs/group of 5 x 6 groups

3. SUPPORT
30 Day Action Plan

Our 30 Day Action Plan is designed to keep participants accountable by applying their learnings in real time business situations while getting support and feedback from their facilitator.

It
includes a resources library with video warm ups, tips, tasks and inspiration.

Plus, 2
debrief sessions of 45 minutes for 5 participants on day 15 and day 30 run virtually with their facilitator.

4. REPORT & ADVISE
Final Survey & Report

Participants and managers will re-take the Voice of Influence Survey.

Participants will then receive a final report comparing their benchmark scores with their final scores to demonstrate improvement. This final report can be used for development conversations with their manager.

A Program Summary is provided and discussed with key stakeholders: head of team, executive, HR. This gives an overview on the return on investment, impact of the program and insights on participants for ongoing development.

 LEAD FACILITATOR & CEO

LUCY CORNELL

Over the last 20 years, Lucy Cornell has personally trained 1,000s of executives in 18 countries and spoken at over 300 events, to inspire people to change their world with impactful, influential and empowered speaking.

She knows the single most neglected opportunity in business is in the voice of its people.

No matter what technical skills people have or training they have received, none of that matters if they can’t express themselves and be heard.

Lucy’s central premise is that your voice is designed to express your power. But by the time you become a career professional and are expected to be a voice of influence, this natural expressivity has been civilized and contracted.

Having a voice of influence is your birthright. You just need the tools to revive your natural voice.

As a result of working with our techniques, leaders are more confident, more persuasive and feel more empowered.

Lucy  is  one  of  200  Linklater  trained voice teachers  in  the  world  with  has extensive academic  and  practical experience  training with  voice  tutors  from Royal Shakespeare Company  (UK)  and  as an  actor  and teacher  at  Shakespeare and Company (USA).  She  also  holds  a Masters  of Applied  Science  in  Voice Research (U.Sydney) and a Bachelor of Arts/Education (UNSW).
